In memory of

Christine Hubbard

16th January, 1957 - 7th September, 2021

We are raising money for Leukaemia UK in memory of my beautiful Mum who passed away in 2021.
After being misdiagnosed for many months due to a lack of research in this disease, when mum finally got her diagnosis in July 2021 and her treatment began, her chance of recovery was very low.
Mum sadly gained her wings on 7th September 2021 with all of us by her side.

Every year on the anniversary I try to do something for to raise money for Leukaemia UK, to keep myself busy through this emotional time but also to try to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Over the past 5 years I have walked the entire Norfolk Coast Path, biked along some questionable roads to the coast and even walked 40 miles in 1 day (never again!)

This year my fiancé and I are walking 100km of the South East Coast Path, starting at Lizard Point and stopping at Coverack, Mawnan Smith, Falmouth, Portloe and finishing at Mevagissey which holds a special place in my heart as we use to go as a family when I was younger.

If I can raise at least £471 this year that will be a total of £5000 raised for Leukaemia UK over 5 years, so this is the target!

I know I ask every year for donations, and I know times are tough, but even £1 will make a difference, so please if you can donate it will be much appreciated by myself but also anyone affected by Leukaemia.
