My dad underwent a Stemcell transplant May 2022 and through complication after this had a cardiac arrest, with 4 /6 weeks in critcal care, he then made a recovery to be transferd back on to the ward, we could not believe our luck he continued to push through various infections and virus and even a massive stepping stone to walk again.
He soon became very ill again 6 months along from his first day in hospital we as a family with hope in our hearts was told he had relapsed, the game was up the hope was pulled from our hearts, we continued to be there for him and pushed to get him home in our care as his final wish! We got him home gave him all the love we could until 4 days later he passed peacefully with his family around him.
