Our Fundraising Walk

Our friend and colleague, Mick, was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia and is currently undergoing treatment. Mick persuaded us to sacrifice our Sunday lie-in to get out walking and created our work walking group. He gets us out in all weathers, through fields, up hills but always rewards us with a stop off at a local pub.
On Sunday 9th June, we plan to walk from our workplace to Goodison park, home of his beloved Everton, on to Bramley-Moore Dock, Evertons future home and finish at the Clatterbridge Centre in Liverpool, where he is being treated. We may even find a local pub and have a pint, for Mick of course! It's a total of 10 miles which is a challenge for us inexperienced walkers.
We hope to raise funds to support research and treatment into Leukaemia.
