On Sunday 12th June 2022, I will be participating in the Two Castles Run, a ten-kilometre race between Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle. I am running to support Leukaemia UK. Leukaemia is a form of blood cancer and the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK. Leukaemia UK supports those affected by leukaemia as well as funding research to improve care and treatment.
I am running in memory of my great uncle Howard. Uncle Howard was first diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in 2015. Despite fighting and beating leukaemia, he was diagnosed again last year and sadly passed away only a short time after his diagnosis. Uncle Howard was a loving and caring man and he is deeply missed by all of us.
Please consider donating to fund the work of Leukaemia UK in supporting individuals and families affected by leukaemia.
